almost looks like the Chiefs are telling us they are going to part ways with Morton and Woods!

http://www.kcchiefs.com/players/depth_chart/

Am I looking too far into this? I know none of the FA signees or rookies are listed, but I still find it interesting that Morton and Woods are left completely off the depth charts until the very end

Do thse listings have something to do with an injury I'm forgetting about or something?

They do say 2005 depth charts

I can't answer your questions, but they do say "unofficial" and I noticed that Sammy Knight and others aren't even on them.

I relaize absolutely none of the FAs or rookies are on there. But it's still interesting nonetheless that Mortona nd Woods would be so far down the lists.

And, it's 2005, so it had to be sometime this year...

i read somewhere that one of those two players is definatly a possiblity for a June 1 cut.

Well, Morton would have been the on the bottom because he finished the season injured, as for Woods, I can't remember if he was injured or not.

I think they just basically cut out the names of the people that are now gone and left it the same.

Here's a more up to date depth chart. I don't know about accuracy, but at least it includes our FAs and draft picks (at least Johnson).

I think reading anything into any of these depth charts is jumping to conclusions based on pure speculation.

Mr. Scanlon, Bring me a dream,
a superbowl victory, which I've never seen.
Blitz up the middle and force a turnover,
Don't stop layin hits until the season's over.

Mr. Scanlon, we know you're the best,
that's why you should wait, until you confess,
usin your magic dust - the "clear and the cream."
Dilute your urine, use vinegar and bleach.

Mr. Scanlon, You know we can't wait,
sign a cheap contract, don't get an agent.
If you get injured, just just quit the team.....
Mr scanlon please give me, please, please give me,
