Did you mean to post that or were you thinking it and it slipped out?

Yes. Our offense is too good. I think downgrading at WR would be helpful in dragging us down to average where we belong.

Not at all interested. In fact, I am pretty sure I would prefer to start Parker, Smith, Crap or even Horn before F. Mitchell.

We already have a Johnnie Morton, why do we need a crappier one?

Rich Scanlon eats Freddie Mitchells for lunch.

Horn's all class. Best wide out you guys have. Slip him in the slot.

The upside to Freddie is he can call the plays in the huddle for you when the QB is busy choking on the pressure...

Doesn't Peterson and Vermeil have a thing for UCLA players

Doesn't Peterson and Vermeil have a thing for UCLA playersNot so much UCLA specifically, but they definitely lean towards PAC 10 players. I did some research a year or two ago, and since Peterson has been here, we've taken more players from the PAC 10 than any other conference, by a pretty significant margin. Although I'll admit that trend has dropped off a bit lately.

I played with him at Rocky Mountain College. He and his brother John are great guys. They busted their asses day in and out. Chris has worked hard to get where he is and deserves an honest shot. I always knew when the Chiefs were running the ball last year because Chris would come into the game at the slot...games he dressed for anyway. Being a Bronco fan I really appreciate a receiver willing to block and Chris may not have gotten it done pretty but he would bust his ass to get it done. I guarantee Freddie Mitchell hasn't thrown a block in his life, his hands are too pretty for that. Give Horn a shot, I'd take him, he's a solid role player on any squad.

Not a chance. Freddie Mitchell is just a mouth with very little talent. And thats bad in football and if you're a stipper on the Vegas Strip.

I love the guy, but I don't think he's our best WR. Although I'm a D homer, Horn is my O underdog this year...really hoping he makes the roster.

...riding shotgun on the Chris Horn bandwagon.

Bronco fan with you on the bandwagon. Don't let that get out to the public though. :)

I know the guy and he's a class act. As good a person as they come.

Speaking of that, why in the hell dont we draft any Univ. of Miami players??? That Univ. is the marquee of future NFL players.

Beats the hell out of me. I wanted to see the Chiefs draft Roscoe Parrish in the middle rounds but Buffalo got him before we could.

Then again drafting 'Canes players may not be a good idea considering their habit of hiring Rosenhaus as their agent and playing hard ball with contract negotiations.

Combine that with Carl Peterson's history with signing draft picks and there is a good chance the player wouldn't be signed until he was 80
