This is my favorite weekend of the year. Went to the Oaks yesterday. I was tanked in the infield and got sun burnt bad. Sucks that I have to work tonight but atleast I got to go to the Downs yesterday. I was wondering what you guys outside of Kentucky think of the Derby. I recomend everyone should experience it at least once. Oaks yesterday had a record 90,000+ people and today they expect 150,000.

I'd like to go there and throw some down on a longshot, but I wouldn't watch it on TV.

I've never understood the appeal of the Kentucky Derby. People get all dressed up in those dumb looking hats, start drinking bourbon at 7 in the morning all the watch a 10 minute horse race.

It's a two min race. And who doesn't like drinking all day in the sun while the girls in the infield show their tits. It's a live version of gils gone wild.

because it's a frikkin blast, that's why!!!

we had our 3rd floor clubhouse box for the oaks and derby this year, but opted to sell them instead. I don't mind not loosing money at the track when I come out about 4k ahead otherwise. :)

BTW, it's a 2 minute hourse race...

:shake: :shake: :shake: that's actualy kinda funny.
Seriously, Kentucky girls are known for thier looks. Some of the most attractive girls in this country are here in this state. And no I'm not talking about my sister.

I'm sure you could find attractive girls at any state university. My point was that when you think of 'Kentucky', no one thinks 'Beautiful Woman'. They think Bluegrass, Tubby Smith, and Incest.

Any excuse to drink good bourbon suits me fine. I approve of 12 year old whiskey, 3 year old horses and 18 year old topless girls gone wild. You bet.

I'll give you that. You can find attractive girls on any campus. My point is the number of attractive girls compared to the number of fugly girls here is impressive.
