K.C. Metro Area Under Tornado Watch Until 9 P.M.
Heavy Rains Expected

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for the metropolitan area until 9 p.m.

The watch area includes Clay, Platte, and Jackson counties on the Missouri side and Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.

29 counties are now under advisories, watches, or severe weather warnings.

I guess the storm in KC shows that Rich Scanlon is not all that after all.
