I turned on ESPN radio this morning to hear Colin Cowherd signing off with Trent Green. Anyone hear what he had to say?

I heard it... Basically, imagine the most cheesy cliches about working hard in the offseason for about the next three minutes, and there's your interview...

He did mention how disappointing it was to go from 13-3 to 7-9, at which point, I blurted out an unfettered "HAHA!" So there was *some* upside...

Jake Plummer called in. He said "better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."

Yeah... The offseason is worthless when it comes to interviews unless it's a player under contract or unhappy with his contract... or is a kicker calling out the quarterback... dumb stuff like that.

Otherwise, it's all just a bunch of jive talk...

At which point, Green sighed and said, "you're right. I wish we would have at least made it to the playoffs. Nice work Jake."
