Anyone want to see Jerry Rice in a Chiefs uni next year? I'm hoping he retires but it sounds like he may come back for one more season.

Why?

I have no idea why any team would want him. Thought I'd ask.

This has almost become comical

He should have retired 5 years ago. I don't understand why he's making an ass out of himself now.

From what I hear it's alot like last years Chiefs Defense.

Very large men run through the hole quite frequently.

That would be great but first we'd have to get Vermeil to feel like he owed something to Rice. Vermeil would never hire a guy because he was good at his job.

ROFL That is funny to me, even 97 year old Rice did better than Right Said FredEx.

Huh? :doh!: Other than the DBs coach, I think he has hired a good staff. He does hire people that he has had personal experience with, but I can not blame him for that. The way I see it, he wants to deal with a known entity. Maybe there are circumstances that would induce your comments but I am unaware of them.

idea. This off season has been perfect to the point of scary. Rice would put a damper on it. Very bad idea.

I would love to have jerry rice as a chief, i mean who wouldnt like to have the best WR of all time play his final season as a chief.

If we had Montan Rice and M Allen in 1993 that would have been something...

Another thing to consider, Peter Warrick could be a casualty, who would want him ?

Evidently, lots of people. Including me. We don't need has-beens taking up cap space. There's really nothing that cool about remembering a HOFer's one unproductive season as a Chief.

A Jerry Rice of right now is signle handedly better then what we got.

Remember last year, he didnt start with the raiders, and played slot for the seahawks and then became a starter.

Not the Bengals, and neither should anybody else.
