Lima has hit 2 batters and has Larussa and the Cards all whiney and crying it's awesome. Tehan hit his frist homeruna nd we are winning 2-0.

It's ok. I get blamed anyway.

Ok the next Cardinal to cry about something needs to be tossed. I am tired of watching them act like little babies. They are only down by 1.

And what is with the people sitting behind the plate always on their phones? I noticed this in the first inning. And I have seen it like every televised home game. Women sitting behind the plate on their damn phones!

There sure are a bunch of red shirts in the crowd.

I think Edmunds should of been picked off. I'd say they got a call their way that time.

Lima had the junk pitches working for him that inning.

That was some fine defense.

Good luck Bob Schaeffer.

Theres the Royals we all know and love. Cards with a runner on 2nd and they slap one inside the bag which makes it all the way into the right field corner then Brown not only misplays the ball, he falls on his ass and what do you know, it's a round trip ticket and 2 runs score.

petegz28
05-21-2005, 06:22 PM
I would say only 1 of those 2 runs was Lima.

First error in 9 games and it cost us big time.

They all go on the score board so your point is moot, in the bigger scheme of things.

That was just shiot baseball all around. It's one thing to misplay the ball. But to miss the cutoff man.... that's an egregious error.

Emily Brown deserves two E's on that play.

Jesus Tap dancing Christ. Larry Walker probably needs a cardiologist. Fat f*ck hasn't run that far at full speed since he found out he was traded from Montreal to Colorado.

Aw come on I am just trying to keep a good light on Lima. He didn't really blow that lead like the last three 5+ run leads he has blown.

Ok come one now...sac fly, base hit anything but a strike out or ground ball from DeJesus!

hmmm.....I thought Teahen was supposed to be a really good defender? He has made some bad plays in this series...

by the way, I have decided that I hate David Eckstein.

And another quality showing by Royals reliever Himen Cervix. Cards with the lead.

Homer Cerda?
SayHiToMeI-29 Cerda?
Why Me? Cerda?

Every time they bring this guy in, he's the second coming of Albie "Seein Ya" Lopez "The Human Pez Dispenser."

Poke my eyes out with a fork. Again.

Holy Helmeted Christ on a Go-Kart, can't we beat the freakin Cardinals at least ONE TIME in two years???

Vent...vent....vent....

Oh well...

We may lose.

But at least I still have a picture of Mrs. Jose Lima.

Thank God for Distractions.

From what I heard on the radio the Ump screwed Cerda on what should of been strike 3 to walker. Then of course POP over the right field wall.

It was strike three. But it wasn't.

Boy nothing like putting up a fight in the bottom of the 9th when your down by one. 3 pitches 2 outs. And now Matt Diaz is up? Game is over.

Yep that's what they said on the radio. I had a bad feeling too when they said it. Rightfully so it appears.

Lima looks pissed and for once I can't blame him. He turned over a 2 run lead o the bullpen only to watch Cerda get taken yard again. And of course our bats went to sleep after the 5th.

Ugh. We really can't catch a single break. We've been playing great defense, 8 game errorless streak. Finally make an error and it kills us. Then Cerda can't catch a break and gives up the bomb. You know Cerda has been in the big leagues for good parts of 4 seasons, and that home run tonight to Walker was the 2nd home run he has ever given up to a left-handed batter. And it killed us. On the bright side we're starting to hit the ball, good hitting performances last night against Mulder and tonight against Morris, who had been pretty much lights out so far this year. Too bad now that we're doing that the pitching can't come through.
