24, if you count preseason, post-season, and the pro bowl.

It is too early to be pessimistic. I voted all 16.

Kendrell's injury problems were mostly related to him pushing himself too hard off the field. He's learned his lesson.

I don't think a sports hernia in the groin area is related to pulling your groin. Am I wrong?

FK'r better play.

That is what we signed him for.

Yep. I said 7-9 and that's wishful thinking. He was the biggest injury risk for all the free agent LB's. Groin problems last a long time.

He was cleared to play in the playoffs last year. He'd be on the field now if it was September. It's better to miss a couple of OTAs to ease a strain than to push too hard in May and June and miss games later on. If he does end up missing time, it'll probably be from something not related at all. Our medical staff has done a tremendous job the last few years bringing in guys with injury questions and getting a lot out of them, so I don't see it as something to worry about right now.

Right, he won't start when we're 14-0. I understand.

Had to say 10-12 because its in the middle, he could do good but then again he could get hurt again!

he'll play as long as he can walk...

and even walking, he's still a better lb than any other we have (if only b/c dj is a rookie)...

I voted 10-12. Most NFL players miss at least a game or two due to the normal injuries as well as wear and tear.

Well, other than our super-human He-beast offenive line. I'm convinced they're all the result of genetic experimentation...

I don't know Keg. Players get chacked out all the time amd are cleared to play and then re - injure themselves. :hmmm:

That's why I figured 15. Vermeil holds the starters out our last game since we've clinched the division and home field.

I agree with you that it doesn't sound good. Strange he was able to practice the first few sessons but sat out the last sessions. A red flag was raised for me when I read that he was sitting out because of groin injury, coz that is why he missed games last year.

The injury bug is the only fly that will spoil our ointment. If they are all healthy I have hope for a S.B. .... but if Bell &/or another key D player goes down ... we will have a more difficult time.

I think we will be much improved because Gun seems to be getting his D installed this year and even if there are injuries we will play better, but not sure it will be enough if there are key injuries.

His injury last year was a hernia.
