i turned it off after we were down 11-2, only to check back in the 8th inning, and was like WO! i've had it on ever since and for the 1st time seemingly all season it paid off to turn it back on!

Heckuva effort to even get back into that game. Tough way to lose. Coulda been a huge win.

you could smell that gopher ball coming. It's so important to score when your the other team in the 10th because you know everyone is swinging for the downs wanting to end the thing

Zack hit a homer!!!!!!!

... but had the most horrendous stat line I've ever seen. Something is wrong with him right now. 11 ER, Jesus Christ!

I wished i had never turned it back on...oh the agony. It's like the little engine that could, except we NEVER can!

I watched the whole thing. Man, am I a glutton for punishment.

One thing we can say about the Buddy Bell Royals - there seems to be no quit in them. They fought back against the Rangers when Lima was terrible. They fight back to two runs yesterday when Lima was bad and Nunez was terrible. And they fought back and nearly won when Greinke of all people gave an asinine pitching performace. The baby Royals aren't quitters.

Zack hit a homer!!!!!!!Nobody will every believe me, but I was going to predict he'd hit a homer (didn't know he had until I saw your post).... but had the most horrendous stat line I've ever seen. Something is wrong with him right now. 11 ER, Jesus Christ! He's got to be tipping his pitches somehow. I wouldn't be surprised to see him miss a start or two, maybe get a trip to the dl for a break.

I believe you about predicting his homer. Going in to this National League road trip, I though that if any of our pitchers would go yard, it'd be Zack. Part of me beleives that he still wants to play shortstop more than pitch.

All of his stuff was haingin up in the zone tonight. It was horrendous.

"If you ask my pitching coach, he'll say I've been leaving the ball up," Greinke said. "If you ask the guys on the team, they'll say I'm not throwing my best pitches. If you ask me, I'll say it's both."

What's wrong with him is, when he throws breaking balls. Several of them just spin in the middle of the plate with no breaking action and get crushed...............

I gotta tell ya. I've had more fun watching these Royals since Bell took over. They play hard, they look like a Professional team, they don't mail it in when the game get's away from them.........I like it.

Can't wait to see Howell pitch today :)

heartbreaking loss, but this team is no quitter.

I'll be watching with interest Howell's start today.

This team is more exciting under Bell for sure, Zach needs to get back on track def.

If Zach is going to be the cornerstone of the pitching staff, maybe he ought to start pitching, vs. lobbing..

I hate to see him getting pounded by the DB's

Get back to basics, throw your best stuff..

Don't tear your arm up trying to polish your stuff in a lost season..

Things will get better..

Trust me.. :)
