I'm sick of going with the prices my eye doctor tells me it costs for contacts, so I'm looking into buying them online.

Anyone know of a site they have used that sells discounted lenses?

I'm pretty much in the dark about lenses, I've used the same 2 pair for about 8 months now (only use them occasionally), which type (1-3 week, or 1-3 month) are the best to go with?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've had good luck with Lens.com. I got my lenses cheaper than at the doc's office.

I wear the Bausch and Lomb ones which last for 30 days and you can sleep with them in. They're pretty expensive but I recommend them for the no hassle factor. Also, my vision has gone up by .25 in each eye during the 2.5 years I've been wearing them.

EDIT: BTW, they're called PureVision.
