Never even thought about it, but it sounds pretty good. Don't they get mushy when you're stirring them in? I would think it might cause your treats to fall apart easier.

Ok, nix the last post. I have no clue why I thought you said rice krispy treats. But, no, I have not cut up a banana into my rice krispies before either.

Why limit it to rice krispies... The practice of cutting up a banana and putting it in your cereal is as old as the hills...

Not really. For some reason, even the smell of them has always made me nauseous. Dunno why, I just think they are disgusting.

My dad used to do that but I never liked. He also dropped strawberries in Cheerios. I guess because both cereals need flavor. I would just put a ton of sugar in each one, liven it up a little.

hell ya, good stuff! not just in Rice Krispies, goes good in corn flakes or cheerios. Strawberries (cut up), blueberries and raisins are mighty tasty in cereal!

I used to when I was a kid. Now I have the wife or kid add in the marshmellows and peanut butter to make the rice krispie treats before I eat the rice krispies.

I don't place them in my rice krispies, but, I put them on my bread. Ever tried a bananna and peanut butter sandwich? It's delicious. It very simple to make. I used to like eating that with toasted bread. I also used to make pancakes and slice up banannas. I would place the bananna inside the pancake spread peanut butter or jam on it, and roll it into a wrap. Pretty good breakfast if you ask me.

Also, ever try peanut butter, and Nutella sandwiches? Awesome. Peanut butter and Nutella together tastes like Reeses pieces. I used to combine both and place banannas on top...mmmmm good.
