I found out that I will be able to take 2 weeks R&R Leave during the 2nd week of July. I have already decided on 5 things that I definitely want to do: Eat cheap Mexican food, ride my motorcycle, have a prime rib the approximate dimensions of the KC phonebook, and sleep.*

What would you do for two weeks?

If in KC, I'd suggest a daily BBQ tour of the city. Each day, pick a different place to go to. Report back here with your findings when done.

I think you should find the woman of your choice, and do the thing you're not supposed to do with them, over there..........until your feet sled from foundering.

When my brother was back he chose to visit family and friends, sleep, eat steaks, drink beer. repeat.

I'd also recommend finding an old Iron Bridge to pee off of with your closest fellas. Lighting a large bonfire with a flaming arrow, and drinking by it all night is also a must do.

Got a friend coming home in Aug. and his relatives have already taken dibs on most of his time, but he has proclaimed a five-day span to be "Grand Lake time". I’ll take him trail’n in the Corveep at least one of those days per his request.

If you’re anywhere close to the southeast Kansas area, come see me. That’s one drunk, dinner and place to spend the night you won’t have to pay for. Guaranteed. :thumb:

Thanks. I've already told everyone that I'm going to "disappear" for a while.

Well, hopefully you won't come home to discover your wife's boyfriends. I know "this guy" who spent his entire 2 weeks trying to wrap his brain around that issue.

Glad you're coming home. I'm sure you'll find plenty.

Obviously I voted for the deck with the Mexico trip. That was a crazy time.

Sauldo,
If you don't understand the importance of that kind of activity, I can't ever explain it in a way you'd understand. Don't worry, Your Twin Cyllinder, gochiefs wouldn't get it, either.

I understand the importance of urination...where does the old iron bridge come in to play?

Saulder suit larry...
Don't you have anything that you do with maybe your family-friends-cyberchic that isn't really about "the activity" itself, but something else?

Every group of straight men have some version of "activity" that is their groups "peeing off of the bridge". Its more about getting a box of beer, piling in and driving there, peeing off the bridge....having a beer and chatting.

No phones. No broads. No schedule. In Tornado's case, it might be the place he can go, with his trusted ears, and tell them what he's really thinking about what he's been doing, over a beer...........or get away from any thoughts of it.

your Abercrombie turtleneck must be too tight today.
