We're lucky to get a 4th season.

Yeah, it was on the bubble for a little while. It's a great show, but the ratings sucked. Sunday night was pretty much ruled by the Desperate Horseshit tripe, or whatever that show is called.

Actually, I don't remember if that show was even on yet, but either way, The Wire has had trouble drawing viewers.

HBO On Demand started season 1 again a couple of months back, so I've been watching again from the beginning. Has to be one of the best cop shows ever on TV, easily.

'course, I'm biased. Any show that can write a (great) scene using only the word "f*ck" is a gem in my world.
