When do you think the Chiefs will change their uniforms in a noticable way? I think it could happen after the team wins the Lamar hunt trophy this year and hopeful (highhopeful) THE SUPER BOWL XL!!!!!!! ROFL

Carl (edit: Lamar) has stated he wants to keep it traditional. He even refused to consider an alternate color jersey that the NFL now allows.

I'd say it won't happen at least until Carl (edit: Lamar) is out of the picture.

I think they should wear the black alternate jerseys they sell at malls. I said Carl wouldn't allow it in my previous post, but I meant Lamar Hunt.

2 or 3 years ago the NFL decided to allow teams to wear an alternate color home jersey (Eagles black, Texans red, etc). I think teams can only wear it once per year.

When they did it, Lamar said in an interview that he wanted to stay traditional, and wouldn't consider an alternate.

Yes savage and Crennel have been cleaning house and getting rid of the crap. The packed most of it up and shipped it to denver.

That's about the extent of Madden's uni editor. It was either that, or Donkesque stripes down the sides. Or something REALLY godawful like a yellow or black jersey.

You know the design of the pro-bowl jerseys the Chiefs players wear? With the little Arrowhead on the shoulder?

Double the size of that Arrowhead and put it on a solid red jersey with no piping. That would KICK ASS.

I love old school and having the red pants on our away jerseys is sweet. That white on white away jersey looks like a used tampoon all together.

And there it is...

The inarguable answer to why the red pants should never go away.

-Teams don't change uniforms unless they are trying to change their team identity, recent examples are the Falcons for the Vick era, Seattle for their new stadium and switching leagues, Tampa for finally becoming a real NFL franchise, and so on. Messing with the Chief unis is unnecessary because you can't up perfection.

alternate unis- Red jerseys black #'s with black pants

When Joe Montana came over from the Niners, the most often heard comment of the Niners fans was how awful he looked in our garish RED uniforms instead of their tasteful uniforms. I have to agree with that. Our uniforms ARE garish and those red pants glisten and appear to be made of silk. That's thwell :thailor:. And then there is the Oklahoma Sooners example. They have struck fear in other college football teams for nearly 60 years. Their colors are similar to ours except they use crimson which is a darker red closer to the Niners. And their road uniforms are white on white. None of that sissy red pants shit.
