Probably is an upload limit issue. BitTorrent programs basically will only allow you to download as fast as you are willing to upload.

If you set your upload speed higher (0 usually is unlimited), then your download speed is also the same.

I am getting about 45kb right now.

Or, you could sell your current DVD player and get a Divx certified one that would play all of the content I provide directly. ;)

12 completed...7 seeds, including myself. :( Greedy bastards.

Thanks to those of you that are seeding. It's appreciated by all I'm sure.

If you're getting anything but green lights in your bit torrent client then you have a NAT problem somewhere. Check your router config and any/all software firewalls you may have installed. This includes zone alarm, norton internet security, and don't forget the windows firewall! Even if you think it's disabled I'd double check it. Of the 25 people currently in the swarm, 11 are showing Bad NAT on my tracker. That means you've got a port blockage problem somewhere and you're not downloading or uploading as fast as you could be.

Wow, did not know they were selling DivX DVD players now :)

My seed up/dl speeds have gone up considerably. I have received a warning re: firewall blockage, but I'm pushing at 30KB+ and pulling at 60KB+ - which is just fine.

after uploading about 10-12gb of the falcons game, yeah i quit. if you want to release somethin new, i will help. i already had the falcons game on my computer, and i still have many others you've provided. so when you rerelease stuff, i'll seed it if i see the thread.

next time make it clear to people to only download it if they want it.
i think some people thought they were helping by only downloading.

I would highly suggest changing the port that your bit torrent client is using from the default to anything else. I use 10009 for mine, but you can use anything. Azureus only needs a single port, most others need multiple I think.

Regardless of what ports your using or how many you have setup in your client you need to open those ports in your linksys router and in any software firewalls. The software firewalls you simply go in and open the port for that machine.

As for the linksys that can be a little more of a project...but easy. You need to set your computer to a static IP address (192.168.1.xxx) and then go into the router settings and forward all traffic on your bit torrent ports to whatever IP you gave the computer.

You will notice much faster download speeds after doing this.

Why doesn't someone re-encode the video so it's 650-700 megs.

My own computer doesn't have a DVD burner and it's difficult enough to transfer something to DVDr from this computer to that. Most people would appreciate the lesser size.

If you took this game down to 600 or 700 megs it would look like shit. I encode all my video for personal keep-sake and I prefer highest quality possible. Since I have them, I go ahead and post them for download. Bandwidth and hard drive space was never a concern of mine. And, as cheap as hard drives are these days, you could go get yourself a storage drive for not much at all....or spend $30 - $40 on a dvd burner.

Ok, sorry for the troubles with this as of late. It's back up now at www.chiefsvideo.com.

Please, anybody who got this completed re-download the torrent, open it up and point it to the directory where you already have it saved in order to seed it for the people who still need to finish or begin.

If you already started this before but didn't get it done you might have to re-download the torrent cuz it's a new one and then point it to your directory. It will resume from where it left off.

No. It depends on the torrent, and how many seeder/peers there are. If your torrents aren't usually green (the little face on the left) you probably aren't configured correctly.
