Does anyone know much about baseball cards? I have some Marshall Faulk cards when he was playing baseball in '89, I have hundreds of mint condition baseball cards from '89 to 95.

Where do I check prices?

Buy a baseball card price guide. Topps is the best. Any bookstore should have one.

Stumppy told me a place to go on the net and I forgot it, and now he's not home to call and ask, anywhere on the net you know of?

Beckett price guide for baseball is published in a monthly magazine format....that's usually what all stores use as their "stock exchange" values.

Evidently, I suppose its the same guy, its a Marshall Faulk card I have a few from 1989 and 90, see if you can find out if its him, I am just assuming, I also have

Tim Belcher
kevin Maas
Bobby Thigpen
Mark McGwire
Greg Maddux
Frank Sanders
Jerry Rice
Bo Jackson
Nolan Ryan
Cal Ripkin
Jose Conseco
Andre Dawson

As I said these are 89 and 90 cards, but there are probably over a thousand cards so there are some people probably worth more these are just the names I recognize, I also have some cards from the 70's in mint condition I haven't looked through yet.

Badgirl, if you take them to a card shop, don't go alone... Take a man with you...otherwise the bozo behind the counter will try and cheat you. You also need to go to 3 or 4 different shops to compare prices. And remember that what the Beckett book says they are worth won't be what you can really get for them....it will probably be less...good luck hunting for prices...;)

If they are worth anything, I was thinking about putting them on ebay.

I guess mothers no longer shitcan their son's baseball cards. My mother threw away the '56 Yankees. I had them all.
