I move that we award Amnorix an honorary Chiefs fan membership for the day.

First down Chiefs
Kansas City set an NFL record with 398 first downs in 2004, breaking the record of 387 set by the 1984 Miami Dolphins.

Wow. Cool.

Receivers

Starters Eddie Kennison and Johnnie Morton are over 30, but the Chiefs have been unable to acquire younger players talented enough to take their places.

Huh?

Does Athlon and CNNSI have some sort of partnership, or have they copied this straight from WPI?

It started out good, but I stopped reading after I read about Kennison and J. Morton.

I posted the links for the Pats on a couple Pats groups, and the Chiefs here, then went back and read the Pats article.

WAAAY outdated and not very thorough. My apologies. If I had it back, I wouldn't have bothered to post the link. That's how mediocre it was.

Warpaint Illustrated is Nick Athan, not affiliated with Athlon Sports at all.

Between this link and the Girly Thread, he's OK, despite what his wife says about him.

Did anyone second the notion of giving it in the first place?

All in all it's a good read. However, I do disagree with the take on the loss of Tait as the OL did miss more than one beat with Wilborn playing RT. Black played the position better than Welborn ever did. I feel confident that this year the line will be as good as it was with Tait cause Black and Sampson will most likely be fighting it ot for the starting RT spot.

Oh, I also disagree that Hicks had a "solid" season. IMO, it was adequate at best.
