Now I'm curious. Poll coming.

If you're unemployed and looking, please select the sector in which you're planning to work.

The company, as a whole, does several things. Collectively, it's a healthcare solutions company. Design and sell software for hospitals that makes medical records managable electronically, provide interim HIM Directors, provides medical records coding, etc. The production side takes the medical records from hospitals all over the country, preps them, scans them, indexes them, and either puts them on CD to store or send back to the hospital or stores them in a data warehouse that hospitals can access online. Including front office staff, three shifts of production, etc, we have about 300 employees.

ok.. I work in the private sector as the Corporate IT Director for a company that is based here in Austin. We only have 15-20 true employees... but we have over 120 franchises nationwide with about 3 to 4 employees per unit at a minimum. So am I in the Private Sector Small (2-50 employees) or Private Sector Medium(50-999 employees)?

You failed to include franchise organizations in your poll!

You're going to have to narrow it down more than that.

Nah, there are good and bad things about that. Definitely nothing better about it than a person who runs his own small business or simply earns enough doing an honest days work to support their family and make a good life for them.
