Leaving for Colorado in the morning with an abundance of Chiefs gear ranging from shirts, jackets and caps to travel bags and pillows.

We got family there so we're taking them new shirts and the like as well for the upcoming season.

Anyhow, see everyone soon and here's to the new season and hopefully some interesting discussions with some Donk fans. :toast:

Thankfully I'm not going to the race with them,10 hours in a vehicle listening to them babble on about it as well as country music will be torture enough.

Thank god my steering wheel has the volume and switch disc control built in.

Drive safely. I trust you've already voted in the "Served your country" poll.

I had to vote none as serving Chiefs Country wasn't included.

Well if it was Oakland I'd be worried for you. As ignorant as the average Donkey fan is, I doubt you'll be in physical danger.

Good luck.

I had to drive through Denver TWICE on vacation. Made my flesh crawl.

We were planning on staying at a hotel there the first night, but I drove on to Golden instead. I told my wife that if something bad happened and I died in Denver, my soul would not ascend to heaven.

I was there once before in Oct of 94,the Sunday night before the MNF game we went bar hopping decked in Chiefs gear and had some very interesting encounters.

To this day,I swear,if I ever see Montana in person I will :hail:

I would have to draw the line on the Country Music.

Good luck! And take advantage of the fact that displaying Chiefs' gear in your car allows you to park up front in most parking lots in Colorado.

So far it's been a fairly uneventful trip, but then again I've pretty much stayed in a drunken fog.Today,we're at my nephew's house in Colorado City(mrs has to watch the race) so I'm catching up a bit with the planet and trying to recoup.

My nephew is a firefighter here and earlier we were watching some video his wife shot from their front yard of one of the latest forrest fires he was fighting that was only 20 miles away.

Anyhow it's back to Missouri tomorrow.
