I spoke to Carl this morning. He said Vann McElroy and DJ have given him the parameters of a contract that they would accept and he turned it down because he wants to watch the fans squirm some more.

I think he'll be in by the end of the first week in August, so maybe the 5th at the latest.

Personally, I'm not terribly concerned about it. One week here or there isn't going to be the difference between whether he's a player or not, IMO.
