Ok ok..its come to my realization that i'm not very good at arranging such things, but i'm going to ask for help this time from the rest of the crew.

How about meeting somewhere for the first game of the pre-season on August 12th, vs the Vikings? (7:00 PM) I don't know where some of you guys normally meet, and I really don't have much of an idea where are some of the better places in KC to do such a thing, so opinions are welcomed.

Also, there is a Royals game August 13th that i'll be attending. Its the '85 World Series anniversary weekend. It's on Saturday, August 13th at 6:10 PM.

I wouldn't mind getting together the night before a home game in a bar or something. Not as hot/cold as it would be tailgating. Just a suggestion. While I am a Chiefs fans, I am not a Royals fan, so count me out in that instance.

Have a Chiefs fan party to go to on Saturday night before the game at Arrowhead stadium with some fans from the coalition. Probably some others from the planet will be partying there also.

It's not your fault Saul on people not getting together. It's just hard to get so many peoples schedules lined up where you can meet.

I think we always have a decent time at BW3 on 350 Hwy. It's about 4 miles from the complex and caters to the interests of sports fans young and old. If one doesn't drink, they can still be entertained there.... Plus I've never heard of anyone who didn't like wings.

Correct. I'm not sure how I can organize a "tailgate" with all the fixins, as I don't have a grill, but I can provide a canopy/tent, and some cold refreshments. I wasn't really planning on a tailgate, but if people will come, i'd be happy to help with it. It would be tough because i'd have to A) Find someone with a grill, b) somehow find a place to tailgate where people could find me, as I don't have reserved parking for this game.

There's gonna be some people there Friday for sure. I don't know about Saturday yet, but we'll have a group for the Chiefs/Vikes game for sure.

Wish I could. The Boy has his first birthday party the next day and there's a ton of stuff to do around the house. Plus, we're about ready to put the house up for sale, so there's a ton more stuff to do around the house.

Come to think of it, anyone going to be in town that's good at doing stuff around the house?

Ok, who is going to go to the Royals game? I have an extra ticket. I think the best thing to do would just have people buy Hyvee tickets, and we can sit as a group wherever we want in the upper levels. The game is at 6:10. I'll be at BW3 on Saturday at around 4:00 PM, and will leave around 5:00 or so. Let me know if you want the extra ticket.

Take 70 West to Noland Road.
Left on Noland for about 6-7 miles.
Right on 350 Hwy (this will be your first traffic light past 40 Hwy)
BW3 is about half a mile past Raytown Road on your right. If you hit Gregory you just passed it.

I hear ya. Today has easily been the shittiest day i've had in quite some time. I don't even have a functioning car right now. Dropped the thing off at 7:30 AM, and they won't get finished until tommorow (supposedly).

Doesn't matter though..i'll make it to Raytown, car or not.

I really can't remember all of them. It was still good though.
