O'Neal began to struggle 45 minutes into the drill and was pronounced dead just over 90 minutes after the workout ended.
The police report was obtained by The Associated Press under Missouri's public records law.
Boone County's deputy medical examiner said the circumstances surrounding O'Neal's death suggest the need for systematic changes to the way such workouts are conducted and monitored.

All what I can say after reading this is unbelieveable. Especially after the education & precautions that were supposedly taken following the Northwestern death in 2001.

Lawsuits will be coming. I feel even worse for his parents now.

This is just sad. I'm sure his parents will sue for neglegence.

I'm thinking someone could be charged with criminal neglegence.

And yes, I know what the coroner said but this sheds a new light on it.
