View Full Version : Best Buy: Toshiba Laptop $449
My 700Mhz Dell is chugging along pretty well, but I'd been keeping my eye on the various $600-700 laptops being advertised lately. This morning's add was too much to resist. A Toshiba A85-S1072 for $449 (after $350 in rebates).
Toshiba are at or near the top in quality laptops, so to see one of theirs at a dirt-cheap price like this was too much to resist.
The cool part is that it's got all the same features as my old, but a larger screen and a DVD/CD-RW drive... AND ... it's lighter and smaller at the same time.
I think you can buy them at the same price online as well.
I also saw that Circuit City had a similar (though $50 more expensive) deal today as well.
Just make sure to send in the rebates, otherwise it something like $800.

$350.00 in rebates??.. I guess waiting the 6 months for them to arrive isnt all that bad.. Toshiba is even close to my top 3 of laptops. Sony, Dell and HP are all better than Toshiba.. I buy and sell them all the time on ebay...
