Watching some CFL and all the American players makes you wish that there was a real alternative just like when the AFL was born.

Why can't this be done without millionaires ? Pay the players with ad money and paycheck for team performance like what GOLF does.

I watched it for about two weeks, but that was about a month ago. I'm trying, actually, not to get myself burned out on football before the NFL season even starts, so I'm going to be turning off the radio next week, as well. It's nice to have so much to see, heard and read, but it's also so easy to overload with all the coverage we have now.

I would totally play a CFL video game. The alternative rules are cool.

There was an NFL alternative about 20 years ago called the USFL. It flamed out after 3 or 4 years...Nobody watched it. When the NFL started up the World Leage back around 1990 or so, they originally had about 7 or 8 American teams....Nobody watched it. The CFL for a few years about 10 -12 years ago, tried to expand into American cities..Nobody watched it......The WWE created a football league called the XFL a few years ago....Nobody watched it.....I think you get the idea.

Simply not a market for it... if there was, you know someone would find a way to profit.
