hahah...just saw a funny story here on the local news. Seems there was a "Mysterious" dude wearing a Chiefs jacket taking notes at Cowboys camp today. Naturally, Parcells got pissed and had the guy removed. Turns out he was a High School Football coach from New Jersey:

Mystery Man

Parcells admits he's a bit paranoid when it comes to football. Last year at training camp he spotted a potential spy on the practice field here at River Ridge Sports Complex.

The head coach thought he nabbed another one Wednesday.

Parcells became suspicious of a man in a Kansas City Chiefs jacket who was taking notes outside the fence during the scrimmage. Security was called over to investigate.

"Anytime you see somebody out there writing something down, you like to find out," Parcells said. "Turns out I guess he was a high school coach from New Jersey."

So if they found out he was just a high school coach, why didn't they let him stay?

This came from one of my LA buddies:

"I took the following exerpt from the Cowboys web site today, about their
practice today. This particular blurb is about a mystery man at their
practice that had Parcells distracted.

I thought it might be you..."

He obviously didn't take into account that it was 85 today. Being warm-blooded and from Kansas (my blood's never thinned out here), I only wear a coat in Los Angeles when it's below 50, or when I look cool. Neither applied today...

I would hope our spies wouldn't be wearing chiefs apparel

It would never occur to us to hire a high school coach to spy for us.

Yes it is easier to get a mp3 player with voice recorder and just say what they are doing... At least that is what I heard... :)

Those security morons will buy almost any story.

The weather for the ride back to Texarkana this morning was perfect.

Step 1 in the "Catching NFL Spies" guidebook is to look for people wearing other team's gear while writing stuff down.

You can't put anything over on these security guys.
