Well, if nothing else, it'll give us a look at the Chargers young talent(s). 7:00 PM CT ESPN.

I'll be watching. I hope can see him.

Saulbadguy
08-11-2005, 06:13 PM
Wow. Who in the hell was Brees throwing too? And what was that rookie thinking taking the ball out that deep in the end zone?

kcjayhawks5
08-11-2005, 06:15 PM
saw the same thing. i dunno but i hope that is what will come this season from the chargers.

Saulbadguy
08-11-2005, 06:15 PM
Yeah, i'm hoping the 2004 Drew Brees was a fluke.

Coach
08-11-2005, 06:20 PM
Chargers run D looks solid, but their secondary looks a little shaky.

Coach
08-11-2005, 06:21 PM
Nice punt by Sander.

Coach
08-11-2005, 06:25 PM
Oh, just overthrew his man. Had Brees threw that a bit shorter or had more air underneath it, that was a sure TD.

Husky4506
08-11-2005, 06:25 PM
he was just in # 43

Saulbadguy
08-11-2005, 06:28 PM
he was just in # 43
He was in earlier on a shotgun double backs formation. He caught a 21 yard pass.

DTLB58
08-11-2005, 06:29 PM
Well, The Packers look the same. The defense sucks and Ahman Green still fumbles.

Scalper
08-11-2005, 06:30 PM
I played against Darren at a 7on7 tournament in Lawrence. He made me look like poop stains

Coach
08-11-2005, 06:46 PM
Why is Favre still in? :shake:

My thoughts exactly. Also I would be curious to see how Arron Rodgers do.

Coach
08-11-2005, 06:50 PM
Wow, that injury to the Charger is really serious.

Hope he's all right.

Great throw by Rivers. Touchdown.

DTLB58
08-11-2005, 08:03 PM
Think Foley was talking about anyone special? "It's just nice not having guys with egos"

milkman
08-11-2005, 08:05 PM
Great throw by Rivers. Touchdown.

That was a great throw.

But his mechanics make his release seem like it's in slow motion.

I could see him having some problems getting rid of the ball against teams with speed on the edges that get fast pressure.

tk13
08-11-2005, 08:19 PM
Sproles just got killed. That DT better check the bottom of his shoe.

Saulbadguy
08-11-2005, 08:20 PM
Yeah, they keep running him up the middle. That won't work.

shaneo69
08-11-2005, 08:20 PM
Sproles just got killed. That DT better check the bottom of his shoe.

Typical Marty play. Send the 5'5 RB up the gut for -2.

tk13
08-11-2005, 08:42 PM
Gilbert O'Sullivan with the fumble, Chargers recover. Alone again, naturally.

KC Dan
08-11-2005, 08:44 PM

tk13
08-11-2005, 08:45 PM
And Marty runs a draw on 3rd down, again, to set up another long FG.

And Marty runs a draw on 3rd down, again, to set up another long FG.

Is Cam Cameron synonymous with Paul Hackett, which in turn is synonymous with Jimmy Raye,

They are just freakin' interchangable, which is the reason Marty hired them.

Coach
08-11-2005, 08:48 PM
Nice to see Schottenheimer rip Keading on the side line.

Heh heh.

I'd love for a kicker rip back into Marty, though.

"If you weren't such a ****in' conservative, non-creative, unimaginitive POS HC, and actually used your offense for it's intended purpose, and joined the ****in' 21st century, or even the 20th century, late, and scored some freakin' TDs, you wouldn't to rely on kickers to score points from 40-50 yards out all the time, you stupid ****!

Coach
08-11-2005, 08:54 PM
It's another fumble. Chargers recover it again, naturally.

90% of this board melted down when we didn't take him in the 2nd round. That was one of the worst meltdowns in board history. Crashed the server if I remember right... I think, maybe that was something else.

Sproles will end up being scraped up off of somebody's turf. I'm amazed that the last 50 years hasn't taught these people that midgets get killed in the NFL. And before you start, Sanders was 5'8" and 200 lbs. And truly an exception.

more like 220--not that 20 lbs really make that much of a difference, but that f*cker was built like a brick sh*thouse--he knew when to run out of bounds, knew how to take a hit, knew how to fall correctly (or so I've read)
