Seriously, all jabs at Cashman aside, it looks like Jerome's days are numbered.

He's looked absolutely horrid against 3rd and 4th-string guys...

he was beaten so badly that even after his dive he was 5 feet away.

He just got bitch slapped by the QB. It's pretty sad when our starters from lst year are even crappy as 3rd stringers.

I think there are people on this board with more speed than Jerome has these days.

Seeing that Woods and Fujita are both playing in the 4th string and were starters last year and are still getting owned. It makes me wonder how we weren't worse on defense last year.

The commish thought about throwing some expansion teams in the stats last year so we could be 34th.

The way Woods just sat there after that third string QB knocked him on his ass, I have a feeling his heart got knocked out of him on that play. I can't imagine what it 's like to go from a big time rehab, to pro-bowl year, followed by sucking, and finally getting demoted to third string. That QB punking him was like the crowning moment, when his career went from swirling the drain to all out free fall.

I don't remember seeing someone's talent disappear that quickly...can't beleive we gave a new contract...ouch
