Name me hot USA born chicks that do nudity ? Hardly any I can only remember a big movie like Basic Instinct. The movie with Billy Bob and Halley Berry was ok but the sex scene was weird. U.S. actresses are prudish about nudity . They have clauses in contracts not to ever do it.

Some of the best 'panel art' of the last 20 years comes from Frank Miller, and the movie used his
Sin Citygraphic novels as storyboards & green-screen settings. That means it's one visual fiesta, really unlike any other movie I've ever seen (all filmed on green screen, never made a movie this way before). But that won't be the case for long, I expect they'll have a sequel out in short order-there are still a lot of Sin City novels left to put on film. Hardboiled/Noir hasn't had it so good since the '50's.

Warning-serious violence. If you can't take the heat stay out of this kitchen.

Alba wears chaps and and a g-string, or tight tee-shirts. It's not nudity, but it's not half bad. Seeing Jessica dance around in a thong beats a stab in the eye with a sharp stick.
There's a plethora of feminine pulchritude on display; the books are aimed at hetero males so yer average local yokel is probably going to enjoy the movie as well. If T&A bothers you, rent 'The Battleship Potempkin'. Ya commie bastid, yez.

Mickey Rourke does a better job as Marv than I expected. Hope Mickey manages to stay sane until the sequels are thru, because the character Marv flat out rocks.

Two thumbs up...right into the bad guys brain thru his eye sockets.

This movie is garbage. A group of six of us walked out of the threater it was so bad. The black and white with spots of color was cool but that could not overcome the terrible plot line and acting. Do yourself a favor and just google the alba scenes online to see her and save yourself the pain of attempting to watch this piece of trash.

I really liked “Sin City.” But, then again, I like the comic books and the film looked exactly like the comic. Kind of post-modern noir.

However, I can understand why someone might not like it. “Sin City” is an homage to the hard-boiled school of books and films. It resurrects and grotesquely exaggerates all the tired old clichés. And those clichés are played perfectly straight. The dialogue is deliberately heavy-handed and the solution to every problem involves someone getting punched, shot, cut or at least receiving an atomic swirly. The good guys are bad, the bad guys are REALLY bad and the women are all hookers with hearts of gold or gun-toting hotties.

I plan to see it again. I am not sure if Mrs. Gaz will enjoy the raw, gleeful hootage of it all or kiss my bald spot, tell me to enjoy my show and vanish from the room.

that's an excellent summation of the film...I enjoyed it, though I liked the first part with Rourke better than the rest...

I'd have to characterize my opinion as admiring, but not immersed. I spent the whole movie going "Hey, there's ___" and precious little saying "Wow!"
Lots of charisma, but veered into preening on occasion. Most striking was Clive Owen as Dwight. Spent all his time saying "look at how tough and noble I am." Expected him to end his bit on the roof overlooking a pool party yelling "I am a golden God!!"

I guess you and a bunch of your college buddies all went to see this film, and you're no where near old enough to get "artistic integrity". This film absolutely rocks and maybe in 20 years, you'll get it. I hope you'll be around...

Just watched this on the big screen with surround sound....this is the kind of movie I had in mind when putting together the home theater. An amazing visual treat. I've never read Frank Miller's stuff, but it delivered as advertised. Visually stunning, violent, and over the top dialogue. Lots of unique characters, and I also did several of the ,"Hey, that's.....". The Alba/Willis relationship got a little weird for me, but I suppose that goes with the territory in this film.

I might also mention.....Carla Gugino is ridiculously hot. I had no idea she had a body like that. Goodness.
