Today. On a 100 yard par 3.... with a 3 wood.

Was the 100 yard 3 wood clue enough that it wasn't my hole-in-one?

My sister calls at 6:00 today.... Drained a hole-in-one on her third ever round of golf. Can you believe that?

Korean Leader Kim Jong Il got 11 hole in ones in his first time ever golfing...

Pyongyang media say North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il enjoys golf, having shot multiple holes-in-one during his first try at the game. He reportedly aced five holes and finished 38 under par on the golf course. The "Great Leader" routinely shoots three or four holes-in-one per round, the government-controlled media reported.

Tell her Congrats. I had one back in 1999..113 yard par 3 with a sand wedge. Pretty amazing feeling and one of those things you cross off your list of things to do.

My Mom had one 2 years ago in a golf tournament. 150 yard par 3 with a 7 wood!

Have your sis check with the equipement maker of her clubs and the ball she used. Titleist sent me an engraved bag tag detailing all of my hole in one info. Ping just sent me a certificate.

Sunday was a good day in our scramble. A young kid I was paired up with has only played for 3 years,he had 2 aces last week on the same course.

The same par 3 I got within 2 feet of yesterday, a 120 yard( depending on where they place the pin, it's a big green ) par 3, # 10.

The other was a par 4 , 330 yards # 11 dogleg left. If you cut the corner over the tress with a high drive, you can drive it. It has a sharp downhill from the tres to the pin with water behind it and back to the left. It's a tough hole in single play, you don't want to take the risk but in a scramble, cut it loose after first guy hits fairway.

A hundred yard three wood shot? How does that work? Does she hit a full 9 iron 15 yards?

I would love to see Endelt get hooked on golf. It could happen if he ever finds out how well golf and beer go together.

I'm unsure. I'm guessing the entire display is, uh - .... well, quite a display.

She's no golfer. Which is partially why it's frustrating.

It's like I'm gochiefs watching CarrotTop score all that 'tang.

Heh heh. That's a good question. I really have no idea how this happened. I'd question whether she's ever even sunk a hole-in-one on a putt-putt course.

I really need to start playing more frequently so I can match her achievement. The only way that's gonna happen is for some of you to allow me to build your high end homes. Please call me soon.

I damn near had a hole-in-one the other day. Par 3 141 yards, so I hit an 8 iron. Totally screwed the swing up and hit the dirt 6 inches before the ball. The ball still went straight though, no more than 5 feet off the ground though. It hit about 100 yards out and rolled on the hard dry ground and came within inches of the cup.

A hole in one is good. But at 100 yards....that shouldn't count should it ?

The difference between golf and bowling, I doubt a third time bowler could rip off a 300 game...

I hit a 225 yard water ball yesterday! Put a pile of balls on the ground, because Im getting this ball over the water! Take another swig of beer. Got the club all lined up(swing and miss the first time) get it together (second swing top the ball) this goes on for about 10 balls. Blood pressure rising! Last ball(whack, it might make it....Splash...."SOUND OF CLUB HEAD BEING BEAT ON THE GROUND"

A 100 yard 3-wood? So that's the secret! All this time I've been swinging a wedge for a 100 yard shot.

Its a special hybrid with a 60 degree face. Kinda like a fairwaylobewegdewood! For those really tough shots.

A hole in one is all luck, right? Then would someone explain to me how Art Wall, former PGA pro, had more than 60 of them in his career.

Kind of like fishing, if you do not have your line wet you are not going to catch anything. A PGA pro is teeing it up pretty often usually, and obviously has a lot of talent.
