The ONLY good thing that could come out of this is Huard being kicked to the curb.

I don't think Quinn is coming in to replace anyone. I believe DV said he's just coming in to help KC out for the last 2 Preseason games because Collins and Huard are both on the shelf right now.

Apparently the standard CP reaction is alive and well. Quinn is just in as a body. Both Huard and Collins are injured right now. He knows the offense. He lives in the area. He's not going to play in any real games.....

Lets hope the same can be said for that scrub Huard. :shake:

Roster update: Once past Tim Couch, there's not a lot of outside quarterback help available. Former New England backup Damon Huard, former Cowboy and Jet Quincy Carter and aged veteran Vinny Testaverde are there. So is previously signed Jim Miller, although the Giants couldn't sign him until Week 6 by rule because they gave him an injury settlement

Probably not, but after watching this guy bumble his way through game after game last year, I would prefer not to suffer through anymore visual pain.

I can't BELIEVE people are jumping all over Huard after one shitty game. He had absolutely no protection and several passes were dropped.

A few days ago, you were backing Tynes like he was the second coming of Jan Stenerud. How is that looking about now? Huard is in the same boat.

Huard is better than Collins. You think Collins would ever dive for a first down?

I'd like to see Huard with the first teamers.

Come on now! Collins is no prize, but he is sure as hell better than Huard.

Look at this way...........suppose Killian gets injured in the 4th Quarter in one of our last 2 preseason games. Do you really want Trent out there behind the 3rd & 4th string O-line.

You put Collins behind that line that Huard had the other night and he does just as shitty.

Collins would NEVER dive for a first down.

No, I would want Tynes out there under those conditions.

How in the hell do you know if he would or wouldn't dive for a first down?

Huard sucked in the Minnesota game as well. Thats two in a row.

Because he's a giant pussy. It's well documented.

14/26 for 125 yards. Collins was 4/8 for for 48 yards.

Dude, If anyone here would know how to spot a giant pussy it would be you. As stated, I have little respect for Collins, but even less for Huard. The guy is a complete tool. If Green ever goes down we are hosed either way IMHO.

I don't have a problem IF Green gets injured. Todd is a solid QB that makes few mistakes. He makes decent reads, but at times it's too late for him to pull the trigger.

Damn, that's two of three Bears who've come crawling back. Can Taint be far behind? :D
