I know we have a few homebrewers here and a fair number of others that appreciate a good craft brew. Two weeks ago I brewed a vanilla bourbon-barrell Imperial porter. Good Lord this beer is going to be incredible. It's been in primary fermentation for two-weeks and I just pulled it off of the yeast and added a pint of bourbon soaked oak cubes and eight vanilla beans. It's really going to be a panty-peeler too. The OG was 1.091 and it's supposed to ferment out to 1.020. That's a 9.3% ABV folks! This sucker prolly won't be ready to drink for at least six months and prolly won't hit its full potential for at least a year. Next on the experimental brew schedule is a Smores Stout. That's right, a stout with graham crackers, cocoa and marshmallow.

It's not going to be something you sit down and drink a sixer of but it will be a wonderful winter warmer.

Do you think you could brew a porterhouse?

Why don't you grab Gale's tix and come up tonight? I got a bed for ya.

As long as I have a good recipe I can brew just about anything. I can't make it up again this year because of the blues festival that I always go to. I'm going to send a sampler sixer up there for you though.

*********EDIT*************

I just realized you were talking about tonight. I wish I could but I've got the kids this weekend. I'm gonna try like heck to make it up for a regular season game this year though.

You made me run across the street (http://www.papagobrewing.com/) and get some local Strawberry Blonde Ale.

HEY. I'm a girl. No laughing.

HEY. I'm a girl. No laughing.I won't laugh I promise. I brewed a strawberry wheat beer this summer for my lady friends and I've got a blackberry wheat planned soon.

When I camp I drink this nasty coffee tasting beer for breakfast, so the boys all think I'm cool.

They keep telling me it'll put hair on my chest.

I'm guessing the boys think you're cool, but not because you drink beer. I'm betting they've never even noticed.

The "boys" you camp with think hairy chested women are cool? Hmmm ... you don't have a French accent by chance do you?
