Pray for the people in New Orleans and Alabama for safety. That this hurricane changes paths and doesn't hit as hard as what seems to be happening.

Just me, but I care for people and can't imagaine what can happen.

Unfortunately, with water temps in the 88-90 degree range, it's unlikely that it will weaken before landfall.

On the bright side, enough folks have gotten out that Shreveport news is reporting that they are just about out of hotel rooms.

You are a good person TK..and I also pray for everyone in the path of this storm. Let's hope if anything is destroyed, it's buildings, and not lives.
