LJ looked great this preseason....I don't have the worries about Priest going down with injury like I have the last few years.

Not only are you not worried, you want to see LJ carrying that rock.

Kinda funny...the past two preseasons the threads regarding Priest's health and what he was going to accomplish or not were numerous. With the emergence of LJ, it doesn't seem to be that much of a hot topic anymore.

I'd rather see Holmes succeed...but if he doesnt it there would be no hesitation to put LJ in....Right now he seems to want it so much more...how long can us fans hold off if Priest struggles?

That was a good story, though sure did not sound like they thought we had much of a chance of winning against the Jets.:(

That's why I didn't really see a huge problem with the drafting of Johnson. With RB's once they start moving past the age of 30, they usually start slowing down. Our offense depends so much on the ground game that it was imperative for us to have someone there to step in once Priest's time was done. It's also why I think we HAVE to get ourselves a QBOTF very damned soon, because we need to start grooming a guy who can step in once Green goes down or starts slowing down, cause he ain't getting younger either...

Baked beans are overrated.
