This is one of those "So, Q, what do you know about the Denver offense" tryouts.

Good.

Little bit of spy work.

We do play them week 3, after all...

Maybe we are going to try the old raider trick of pumping him for info.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not like we'll use him as a feature back...

This confirms my earlier conspiracy theory that we are indeed interested in Bob Stoops after DV retires.

We've already got our short, fast return man.

I say sign him and stick him up Chump Bailey's hind quarter.

What could he possibly tell them that we don't already know....Jake sucks, no other way around it.

BTW, he wasn't there long enough to tell us anything, sat on the sidelines hurt.

I'm not a fan.....however at Worst they're looking for some donk insider info....and at Best, a #3 back.

I don't see that working, unless he magically becomes a very good Special teamer.

Impossible. I thought Barry had retired and the Lions owned his rights forever.

Maybe Q knows how jake mastered the left handed desperation toss? or he we can make jake use that as his secret weapon every down.

Impossible. I thought Barry had retired and the Lions owned his rights forever. He still plays for the Broncos. He just changed his name to Ron Dayne. Didn't you get the memo?

I guess it can't hurt, the guy can run, we have seen this before, but damn he is still small.

Maybe we can pick his small brain apart on some things.....maybe.

Heh. ROFL

Exactly my thought.

He would be a solid 3rd string HB IMO. Now the question is whether we need a 3rd string RB or do we need something else like FB depth or DL depth (specifically DT IMO).

But yeah I can definately see how we would bring him in as a spy for another offense. Carl and DV, those tricksters. They're so tricky. Using Griffin as a spy, heh who would have thought of that?

If cp is dead set on bringing in a former Donk.......I think I'd prefer it were Fatafehi or Dorsett Davis....though it doesn't speak very highly that they couldn't beat out the Cleveland Dline.

Sounds like Carl read Taco's thread, realized that Priest didn't throw a quality chop-block, and wanted to bring in an expert to teach him proper chop-block form.

Maybe they are going to put a tray on his head and have him walking around serving Gatorade, like R2D2 is doing at Jabba's crib in return of the jedi

If he signs (we could use a #3 back), is it bye-bye Svitek?

i don't mind, but don't see what we gain by cutting jonathan"mckenzie" smith and then signing quentin griffin.

other than insider information

i think griffin does have potiential and liked him in the draft but we have moved beyond him now imo.

I wonder if griffin is insurance just in case Priest can't finish the season again. :(

IMO Q Griffin is better than Smith or Brown and would a great 3rd RB. I see no problem with this at all.

Marty was a master doing this. The players were also happy to have that game check, too. It is a fair trade, info for $15 - $20,000.00.

Hey, I don't see a problem with it. He could be a backup KR/PR to Dante and a 3rd HB.

I think it would be a good move, as soon as we get healthy elsewhere.

He would be a great compliment to Holmes and Johnson. He's a great runner on draws and screens, and he's a good blocker, despite his size. I think he fits KC's offfense. Guess time will tell if they sign him.

For info? And all this time I thought that the Raider Nation pumped each other for a carton of cigarettes.

If, after seeing the same sh!t from Shanrat for nearly a decade, the Chiefs need to pump a third string running back for information on the Bronco's offense, then they are in trouble.

Exactly. KC knows Shanny and Denver knows DV. Any new twists each team would add for the games wouldn't be installed until game week when the game plan is introduced.

Q is a hell of a third RB, he is faster thanl ightning and has pretty good hands. IMO it's his questionable durability due to his diminutive stature that got him cut. KC could do worse for a #3 RB.

SIGN HIM NOW!!! Super Bowl baby!!!

:) Then again, Q can't play special teams for sh*t. He's too widdle.

Still, he hits the hole and is gone. You thought LJ got to the house in a hurry on that 95yard scamper through the mack-truck size hole the Chiefs line opened up for him?
Q would have left a smoke trail like Speedy Gonzalez.
