Did you read yesterdays opinion in the business section of the Star. They guy basically says that the oil companies conspire to hold down refining and he gives proof from an interview from Valero chief.
Biodiesel and other energy producers are never given any thought in this country because it would cut in to the big oil and natural gas territory and alternatives have no big lobby except for the ethanol groups.
