i think Larry Johnson is gonna bust a 90 yarder ... if not a couple

3 carries for 180 yrds (60 ypc)

full blown RB controversy :p

If Priest and LJ run for a combined 10 yards with 0 TD's and we get the win, i could care less. Lets concentrate on the win.

I voted for Priest but if LJ can break one, he could get a bunch of yards in one carry.

LJ is going to continue to bust off long runs. I think the running back controversy gets even worse this week.

Priest - 18 carries, 75 yards
Johnson - 10 carries, 90 yards

There would be no controversy if that happened.

If we had only had our RB problem in the 90's they'd be comparing the Patriots to the Chiefs.

I'm gonna actually say Martin here, I figure he'll have about 120 or so with priest around 90-100 and LJ tacking on another 70.

I had to go with Holmes outta loyalty. But there's no doubt that LJ is a threat to take it to the house on any carry. The man has shed his diapers and is wearing depends now. It's certainly turned into a nice problem for Saunders and Vermeil. :thumb:

Like to see Preist bust a long one, maybe off a screen or
short route.

LJ get a full head a steam for a long one after O line blows up their D line, linebackers

F the Jets over-rated D.

Probably Martin. Depends on how much Blaylock spells him.

I think the Jets are going to load up in an effort to force us to pass. We'll have to get the ball moving in the air in order to open up the run.

I'm taking Holmes simply because I think the Chiefs are going to do alot of running this week. Something like 25 for priest and 15 for Larry on carry numbers.

Depends on what the Jets secondary shows them. If they stick to mainly zone D, Green will torch them. If they stack the line, Green will torch them. If they blitz him, Green and Holmes and LJ with the screen will torch them. If Green comes out and gets in a zone like he seems to do for some reason against AFC East teams, Green will really torch them.
When Green gets hot and enters a zone, there isn't a better QB in the NFL. He's lethal when he's in a zone.
