Agreed. Ray Guy award? Maybe someday.

Color me pleased. As a fan, 48.5 is acceptable as an average.

I have to agree. The difference he made in field position versus last year's punting was great.

Now, if we could just improve the kickoff coverage...

The kid from Baylor won the Ray Guy award. He is a junior this year.

yup, he made some nice punts, it's been a weakness for years

Now, if we could just improve the kickoff coverage...I don't know if the coverage is the culprit. Tynes is kicking line drives. Even if they go deep, they get there too fast. The returner gets to the 20 before we can get anyone down there to make contact.

I wonder if he can play FB, CB and DT?

I was comfortable with the pick at the time, and I'm glad to see that confidence rewarded. He sure beats a DT bust.

Colquitt was huge, but it's a sample size of 1. :)

(that was for Gaz the disdainer of stats.)

Not only was I happy with the hangtime and distance, he also handled the all-out pressure on his first punt and still booted a huge one.

Can Colquitt kick field goals?

16 punt return yards, bonus!
