And, that's a bad thing? LJ only had 9 carries for 110, right with 35 on 1 carry? What's the difference, yards are yards... they break off long ones and sometimes they're stuffed. Carnell did pretty damn good for his first NFL start on the road.

I was getting across the point that he ran for about 70 yards on his other 26 carries, which is bad.

Well, the only thing I'll say is that had LJ received 27 carries aside from the 9... there's a pretty solid chance that he would have fell a few yards below the 12 yard or so average he had on Sunday. That's all.

The case could be made for Cadillac.

Those two were parts of the biggest stories of the week in the NFL (that happened during the games). The Chiefs smash the Jets, the Vikings lay an egg against Tampa. DJ was the leading tackler and forced a fumble in one game, Williams was the offensive force in the other.

Which one was more integral to their team's win? Well, as bad as the Jets looked, without DJ we probably still win easily. With Michael Pittman toting the rock for the Bucs, I don't know if you can say that, but I didn't see that game.

I'll still vote for DJ just for homerific goodness.

It won't accept the numbers now........philfree "ARE YOU THAT FAULKING DUMB"? ROFL

Don't make me come over there and spank you :) I'm not sure I meant that :)

The bar does not appear on my screen when I go to that page, Chefsos. Perhaps I need a specific program or sompin for it to show up.

Bugars me!

Huh?

The poll is for rookie of the week, and not only is Parker not on the list, he's not a rookie anyways.

I really don't get the voting bar though.

You are correct, he is a second year player that did not play last year. Still would have had to vote for Williams over DJ anyway. DJ had a decent game but nothing worth giving him the nod. I will wait until he deserves the nod.

Voting for Odell Thurman over Derrick Johnson is pure, unadulterated horseshit.

6 tackles and an INT versus CLEVELAND, versus 8 tackles, a sack, and a FF versus a team that played in the AFC Championship last year.

Bullshit.

DJ had a great game, but Cadillac probably deserves it. I've got a feeling that, after the season is over, this will go down as just an average game for DJ (9 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF) It wouldn't surprise me at all if he wound up with 150 tackles, 11 sacks, 8 FFs, 3s INTs.

Odell is going to be a helluva player, but I'm surprised he/the Bengals have so many fans voting for him.

I definitely think Odell had a great game, but it was the lowly Browns. I think KC's defensive performance was far more impressive, and DJ was a big part of that.

Plus DJ had better stats.

I could see it if DJ and Odell were CLOSE, but there's no way Odell should be that far ahead...
