My how the mighty have fallen....did you know John Blake interviewed for a defensive coach positition in K.C. after being let go by O.U.? I am sooo glad it didnt work out.... never was a fan of his. Stoops, however, is a good coach and will find a way to right the ship sooner or later.

Tell you a secret...if you promise not to tell anyone here....I was really hoping Tulsa would pull off the upset last week.... Talk about getting some airtime ! Unlike my passion for the Chiefs I don't live and die by the Sooners success and failure. More of an NFL fan than I am college football. I can't help but think that losing the younger Stoops may be the biggest loss of all. Not knocking the new OC (Yet) but Mike Stoops was really good and he knew what the talent could do.

I agree 100%. I know there has been some talk about B. Stoops being the successor to D.V. when he retires..... could be interesting.

Ran into a guy that grew up in your part of the state last week at a ministers meeting. He's a new youth pastor and when I responded to his question about where I was from, said, "I Hate Clinton" His wife looked like he had just slapped her. I started laughing and told him, "Yeah, we do have a pretty good football team don't we." Sure enough, we knocked his team out of the state playoffs the 3 years they made it.
