Uhhh, to much "Blowin' on to the shores of a google search engine?"

Uhhhh, Quote: "I'm a retired investor living on a pension."<BR> Maybe this makes you a Republican..? Jackson doesn't really pen songs about gold watches, yachts, and the Trickle Down Theory...

Uhhhhh, perhaps you never went clubbing on the Main Line (Metro Philly) in the early 70's?

Uhhhhhh, could it be you're still trying to archive every Dylan bootleg ever?

No, I don't think that's it.

No, that's not it either.

Absolutely. Clever and interesting lyrics, good songs, and then he just seemed to forget how to write a good song. I blame Daryl Hannah.

You are young. His hey-day was a while ago. Discovering the good ones is a serendipitous experience often.

Just to clarify, we're talking about the entire works, not just the songs. Anyway, either way, whatyever. I forgot what I was oging to say here...OH yeah!

I know I will be in the minority here but "I'm Alive" had some very good songs on it. Albeit a depressing work about the breakup, still good writing there - and it's the last work that he has put out that his emotions come thorugh with every note. Since then it hasn't been pretty.

P.S. Ya have to admit, "tender is the night" is a very good tune.

Okay, so I'm a geek but go back and find the "Taxi Driver" soundtrack, or better yet buy "Jackson Browne" it is also known as "Saturate before using", the song Jamaica, is sweet

I can't keep up with what's been going on
I think my heart must just be slowing down
Among the human beings in their designer jeans
Am I the only one who hears the screams
And the strangled cries of lawyers in love

God sends his spaceships to America, the beautiful
They land at six o'clock and there we are, the dutiful
Eating from TV trays, tuned into to Happy Days
Waiting for World War III while Jesus slaves
To the mating calls of lawyers in love

Last night I watched the news from Washington, the capitol
The Russians escaped while we weren't watching them, like Russians will
Now we've got all this room, we've even got the moon
And I hear the U.S.S.R. will be open soon
As vacation land for lawyers in love
