Yes we should have ran larry more and make a few mistakes here and there but what we were all worried about the most was our defense and it looked pretty darn good. Now we are at least 2-2 or better going into the bye and then we get Warfield and Welburn . Go Chiefs !!!

The defense gave up less than 100 yards again -- 3.73 yards per carry.

VERY good.

it may have been an ugly win, but then again it was against the raiders. how many of those games have been pretty?

Lamont Jordan was pretty much shut down other than one 18-yard jaunt.

Very impressive.

I was NOT impressed by Kendrell Bell getting run over.

Its early in the season , we are shorthanded and our defense is full of new players coming together as a team , I will take 2-0 for sure !! Go Chiefs !!

Yes, the rush defense is great. We have to get more pressure on the qb. Not at all happy with our rush, outside of the corner blitz.

:BS: I believe we should just throw the remaining games so we can get a higher draft pick.

Well that was the manta of some at the end of last season

ESPN just said the KC Chiefs are the #1 team in the NFL in run defense.

Really I felt on edge the whole game... but at the end it didn't look all that bad, I guess. We only allowed 17 points to what is supposed to be God's gift to offensive football. Moss got his, he's tough to hold down the entire game, and Gun obviously went into this game planning to drop a lot of guys in coverage. I guess it worked. The only thing we allowed in the 2nd half was that long Moss TD, and we made all the stops that were needed in the 4th quarter. I guess you can't ask for much more. I think the defense really bailed the offense out, especially after Parker's fumble.

UHHH, which quarter was that?

That statistic is basically worthless at this point don't you think?

:shake: One of the biggest stats for defense. #1 against the run is huge.

um, no...it's the biggest reason we're 2-0....and proof our D is better than last year...but other than that...

Hee Hee. You're right. I'd rather take that stat at the break or after game 8 than after game two. I still have a few questions that remain unanswered --even after Martin and Jordan...
