Roaf and Hall are critical.

Dunn is huge as a downfield blocker.

Man, we need these guys Monday night.

I think that the only ones that will be missing are Fox and Simms.

Didn't Dunn come back in the game during the second half? I don't see him missing this week as a result. He is critical, especially with Roaf out.

While I'm eager to get Roaf back, I hope he doesn't rush back. It won't do us any good to reinjure his hammy midway through this game and lose him for another 3 or 4 weeks.

Too often I've seen guys rush back from hammy injuries because it was a big game, only to end up going out early and not coming back for a month.

No he was thrown an easy pass by Drew Bress which he ran in for a touch down.

Check out this scenario:

Patrick Surtain dislocates his shoulder in week one, an injury that on average keeps a player out 3-4 weeks. Surtain comes back to start the very next week, keeping his league-leading DB streak of 98 starts going.

In a game-turning play against the defending aFC West champs Surtain baits the QB into throwing to his man by lagging behind ( a common tactic for CB's with burst-speed as anyone who ever played the position will tell you), then, when the ball is in the air Surtain shows the breaking speed that makes him an elite CB in the NFL.

Vailpass says" ha, that was not a great play Surtain was just thrown an easy pass by Drew Brees".

Would you say at this point that Vailpass was engaging in some bitter player-hating?

It was a great play. And the biggest reason it was an easy pick was because Bailey used his football smarts to read Brees. It may have been a dumb throw, and Brees" definately did telegraph it, but he still made the play because he's a smart athletic CB.

That play probably won the game for Denver. The momentum went 180 degrees for Denver on that one play.

Too bad for Champ that it will be Green instead of Brees at QB this week.

We shall see, we shall see. I think Denver's D will get to Trent early and often and Denver's running game will bruise and batter a KC D-line that is mediocre at best.

What I think, or you think, is all just dust in the wind.

Come on Monday night get here soon.
