I can't hear the announcers or the dialog on the commercials. I can hear the music on both, but no voices at all...

how can army even field a football team.....all there players have to be too small to stay within the Army's physical fitness standards

On one hand I want to see the Cyclones get embarrassed by Army.

But on the other hand, if ISU loses it just makes Iowa's loss to them seem that much more pathetic.

Looks like ISU might pull this one out. Tied 21 all with 11:00 left. ISU starting to wear out the Army D.

There's no doubt ISU is a National Power/ I mean, they just made a statement with this convincing road win ROFL

To all the ISU fans, just STFU until you actually win something ROFL ;)

It's a rivalry game. You know - KU v MU (you thow out the records). They've beaten Iowa like 4 outta the last 6 yrs. Hell, ISU beat IU when IU went to the orange Bowl and were Co B10 Champs. Doesn't mean much to me.

What's 23-3? ;)

Look, I hear what you are saying, but I don't believe the ranking is justified, JMHO

They showed a little figure that ISU has won 7 out of the last 8 games. I remember the one loss, when they CHOKED at home vs Mizzou in OT. Absolutely pathetic. ISU has good talent, they have just never fielded a consistently good team on the field.

I guess I'm just the kind of guy that thinks a fan of one team that has not beaten a ranked opponent should go light on the criticism of a team that has beaten a ranked opponent.

But then again, I'm biased.

Today's game: Kansas State against perennial powerhouse North Texas State.

Hey, North Texas State wins it's league every year. I forget which league it is.

ISU's run D has been exposed. Iowa ran pretty well on them, and then inexplicably abandoned the run. Now Army, with a line that was much smaller, runs all over them too. If it wasn't for ISU's size wearing army down, they would have lost that game. It's going to be a lot toughter to wear down Big 12 schools that have guys just as big.

I'm assuming you are referring to North Texas? If so, then it's the Sun Belt league.

This game shows exactly why I'm not a big McCarney fan. 11 years and still not a consistant winner. ISU always plays down to the opponent's level. They showed up on the field with no focus and desire. Beating Iowa, they thought all they had to do to beat Army was to show up. I could almost see this if this was the week immediately after the Iowa game. But this coach had 2 weeks to bring them down from that high and prepare them for Army.

ISU's pummeling of Iowanka wasn't pathetic.

It was defining.

Interesting thought. I'll take that under advisement.

Then again, I'd love to beat my in-state rival when they are ranked, but they rarely have ever been ranked whwn we play. Last time that happened - 1995. I don't think we want to revisit that, do we?

Hey, you're the one spouting off about beating ranked teams. Keep that 2004 win near and dear to your heart. You narrowly beat a 4-7 team in Larryville that was easily (and obviously) one of Snyders worst. You must be proud;)
