Any word on his recovery ?

When is the date where he can be activated or put on IR ?

And how would you guys feel about a 3-4 defense with Barber in it, I think that would be pretty awesome lookin defense.

nah.....id rather just let him go and take my chances with Scanlon or Grigsby. I love the youth movement at Linebacker.

Week 6 is when he comes off of the PUP list. They'll have until week 8 to decide if he's going to play or go to IR.

Well if Fox's injury is serious and he misses alot of time, Barber coming back could be a big help.

I hope they have Rich playin at the other OLB spot this week so he can prove all of his doubters wrong that still doubt him even after he made the team.

I'd rather see Kris Griffen play it, he has the better speed to play on the outside.

I rather them rotate both, but Scanlon is fast too he runs a 4.54.

For the ppl that say they rather see Kris Griffin play, to me thats sayin you dont Scanlon to get on the field and prove you wrong.

I think I read somewhere that Griffin runs a 4.73 ...

Man, forgot about him too....we are loaded at LB this year! See, we dont need Barber. Although, i suppose he would provide nice veteran depth. Honestly, just for personal reasons, id like to wipe out every member of the Chiefs defense from 2002-2004.

This is most likely Barbers last season here, I'm not seeing anyway he's not cut after this year. He's to expensive to be a backup.

That being said if he can come back and contribute to our team this year it would be an added bonus. He's a quality NFL starter, if he's healthy enough to play. The coaches should be able to find a role for him.

Like Scanlon has time to play for the Chiefs. He's co-starring in the new Bruce Willis thriller AND posturing to become the next Pope.

With Fox out I hope he's back sooner rather than later. He's the best option for #4 linebacker. And while I'm hoping things, I hope Maslowski gets healthy and is resigned, because he's basically the perfect backup MLB. Smart, good tackler, special teams god.

We could definitley use Barber. When he recovers I'd get him involved ASAP.

No chance of him coming back.

By the time Barber is ready to play, Griffin will have a lot of experience under his belt, and he's faster.

As far as a 3-4 D, a prerequisite is a solid inside tackle. Dalton and Browning might be able to draw some double teaming, but Siavii???

I don't see it happening.

Whaaaaa? Siavii is the perfect fit for a 3-4. He's huge, and he's strong. I'd pick him in a 3-4 any day. He's not the best tackle in a 4-3, but in a 3-4 you just have to plug the middle and let the LBs close the gaps. I think Siavii would do well in a 3-4.....

Plug the middle. Maybe I'm confusing him with another player. The DT in R&G with hair sticking out underneath (who I thought was Siavii) has been consistently pushed backward by o-lineman so far this season.
