I find that I have to root for San Diego tonight. It's rough as a Chiefs fan to root for a division rival, but I've got to do it. I just can't stand the thought of draft picks refusing to play for certain teams. I hope the Chargers put a thumping on Eli that he will feel for the rest of the season.

Do you really think Eli was the one to decide he wasn't playing for the Dolts? Archie orchestrated the entire coup. He wants his boys to play each other in the Super Bowl. As a Chiefs fan, you HAVE to root against the Chargers tonight - putting them at 0-3 would be huge. Two divisional foes at 0-3 would be better than anyone could have hoped for. And putting Denver to 1-2 would even top that... :)

The Chargers are like "quasi-rivals" and bordering on being the AFC West red headed stepchild. That title used to belong to Seattle. I hate Denver and Oakland, but San Diego is like a little brother trying to play with the big boys. Sorta like Canada in world politics. San Diego gets their shot once every ten years and is otherwise quiet when it comes to AFC West titles.

I'm going for San Diego because KC can still sweep the Chargers. This isn't December. If we get to week 16 and look back at this game in terms of our playoff chances, well...we didn't taken care of our sh*t to begin with.

Eli reminds me too much of Elway. Thus, my hatred for horse face and the donks trumps any rivalry feelings towards San Diego.
