Just wanted to let you jazz fans out there know that I host a weekly Jazz Jam every sunday night at y.j.'s snack bar. We have anywhere from 3-10 awesome jazz musicians show up. This week, my friend Jazz Legend\New orleans refugee Loren Pickford will be there playing both the alto, and the piano with us. The snack bar features awesome middle eastern food, and a variety of non alcoholic bevs, and specialty coffees. there is cafe style seating outside the place, and you can b.y.o.b., as long as you pour it in a cup and throw the bottle away. y.j.'s is located at 18th and wyandotte in downtown k.c.mo. thanks for taking the time to read this. hope to see you there.
