wow that was amazing Akers has got a huge heart to do whatever it takes to win. Even though it might cost him with pain. That has to be one of the most amazing things i have witnessed.

He's my FFL kicker, and I squirted a little.

If the I can't watch the Chiefs win on Sunday then it is always nice to watch the Raiders lose. Way to take one for the team Akers. You've got my respect.

Here's to hoping he aggrivated it just enough that they don't put a new kicker on the roster.

I missed the game. I'm clueless as to what happened.

What did Akers do?

I don't feel him or any of those foul mouthed Philly turds.

Why didn't Philly bring in a kicker to rest Akers? It's gutsy as hell, but WTF were they thinking?

They had a week to bring in a kicker who could actually make a PAT, Kick off and attempt a FG longer than 30 yards.

They decided to go with a LB for the PATs and McNabb on the 30+ yard FGs.

That seems incredibly foolish IMO. They must have had a pretty talented 4th string to make that kind of decision.

I winced when we planted that right leg for that final kick. He must feel like he just won the Super Bowl.

Now I hope that he has to take a week off, and the only replacement kicker the Eagles can find is Lin Elliot.

Fuggin' kickers...if he'd shown up for the missed PA it wouldn't have mattered. As it was, he's a true drama queen. Hell, McNabb plays at QB the whole game w/ a pulled groin and a bad sternum! The more worthless piece of shite on the field was Jani-rapedrug-kowski! Ohhhhh, my bad plant leg, ohhhhhh!

Fuggin' kickers...I absolutely love it when someone whose biggest athletic achievement occurred on the toilet dog kickers.
