Little lofty for me right now. I love the M11, what an awesome gun. Where I live we are a prime target for terrorist attack and I live right on a fault line and there will only be one way off the peninsula. I have never really been prepared in the past. Don't get me wrong, I got guns and 5 gallons of water and some canned goods and shit but I could be a lot more prepared than that. I think over the next few months I will try and get my shit together. All of what you put together is only as good as what you have to protect it with. I think I will add this bad boy back to the arsenal very soon.

One of the guys I work with (and a good friend of mine) won the Cabelas Kansas Lottery $10,000 shopping spree 2 years ago and he bought a AR-15 with all the attatchments. It is really fun to shoot. Looks just like the M4A1 Carbine. Back in high school when the movie "Escape From New York" with Curt Russel came out, he used a gun like the MAC with a silencer on it. One of my classmates went out and bought one. That was very hard to shoot and aim and hit anything, but it was fun to shoot. He bought it to be like Snake Pliskin! I think he may still have the damn thing!

But you have to have a transfer dealer to purchase it off of there for you. Finding a transfer dealer isn't hard but they will charge you a nominal fee for the transaction. I would think most self defense battles happens close range. I think you would be better off with a shotgun (hard to miss with that). If you do have longer range battles, you want accuracy, I would use a 308 or 30-06 for that, not a pistol. JMO
