I said all along there would be a point in the season where we missed him. He was twice the receiver that Parker currently is.

Yes, but not for what he was making. I would have welcomed him back if he would have signed for lower $$$$$. He would not have made much of a difference in that Denver game though. That was a total team crap effort loss.

Yeah but he caught balls better that Sammie Parker, on and off the field.

Not yet. No need to panic, Parker is going to have a bad game or two but I think in the long run he's going to pay off. I'm still on the Parker bandwagon.

He's dropped balls that were just as easy as the drops Sammie had monday night, and it's not like it was years ago either, that was just last season. Parker has also made some spectacular grabs (late last year).

I thought Morton was still with us - he just switched numbers, he's wearing # 18 now.

I still don't think Morton really wanted to be here. He never lived up to the contract he signed... but he's remembered for one bad game, which was a playoff game so maybe deservedly so, but other than that he was probably our most reliable WR. That's not saying much though.

Actually, I disagree. Parker is still a kid learning so, even if I get irritated at his mistakes, I understand. Morton sold himself as a seasoned vet that could b e counted on, but when the chips were on the line, he seemed to fade.

Parker is faster and has potential to be a better WR than Morton. I just wished he'd get serious and catch the balls.

Uncle Dick doesn't like kickers or WRs. He certainly has forgotten what the Rams trio was able to accomplish. He and King Carl have never made an honest attempt to upgrade that position. Aside from Kennison being re-born our receiving corp is a joke. Don't even bring up TG cuz they can't get him the ball when he has to stay in and block for those pathetic tackles we are throwing out.
