Should be a hell of a series. It would make my month of October to see the Sox the Yanks out of the playoffs.

1-1 in the top of the 2nd.

The postseason has basically begun, have to admit I had 2 tv's going tonight,Yanks-Bosox and Chi-Sox-Indians.

One great game since the Bosox beat the Yanks to pull even and one good game, which could have been great had the Indians not gotten screwed by a blown call at 2nd in the bottom of the 12th.The Chi-Sox went on to win 3-2 in bottom of the 13th.

Yeah, the Indians and their 41 million dollar payroll, big spenders.

Not really, they're just at a more advanced stage of what we're trying to do.

Wait a minute...didnt they only start rebuilding a few seasons ago?? How many times have we tried and started over in the past 15 years or so????

If there were any justice in the world neither of these team would be in contension for the AL east at the moment. :(

I'm still hopeful that Cleveland can knock one of them out of the playoffs, but they gotta beat Chicago twice now to do it.

I just have one thing to say:

Why pull for the Red Sox over the Yankees anymore? They are basically the same thing.

I dislike the Yankees much much more.

Simple. Ya pull for the Red Sox to win, just to see the look on Steinbrenner's face. Priceless.

I'm pretty indifferent these days but I gotta go with the Yanks this year. I don't care if they win the World Series or not, I just want to see them knock out the Red Sox.

Picture a cross between Donx and Ra1ders Fans with the enthusiasim (sp?) of Chief Fans finally winning a Super Bowl.

It's brutal.

Yeah, the AL playoffs are gonna suck, Yankees, probably the Red Sox cause the Yanks are gonna rest everybody tomorrow, and the freaking White Sox. The Angels are the only mildly bearable team. I sure don't wanna see the White Sox win it...

Personally I wouldn't care if NY/BOS broke out into a bench clearing brawl and they fought it out until everyone was dead.

Even better solution.

I am a big Tino Martinez fan though, hopefully he'll be smart enough to head to the locker room.

As a life long Oriole fan I say :harumph: baseball died when Ripken retired.
